More in Your First Home, From the Start: The Better Deal for EasyLiving
The Better Deal for Carlisle Homes’ EasyLiving range is designed to help ensure the home you build is the one you’ve always imagined, with a range of sought-after inclusions at no added cost, an 18-month Price Lock, and the opportunity to get started with as little as a $2,000 deposit when finance is arranged with Mortgage Domayne.
For many first home buyers, one of the biggest challenges is balancing aspirations with budget. The display home often showcases the features they love, but understanding exactly what’s included and what it will cost can make the decision feel more complicated than expected.
That’s exactly what inspired The Better Deal for EasyLiving. Rather than asking buyers to choose between the features they want and the budget they need to stick to, it includes more of the upgrades that matter as standard. The result is a simpler, more transparent path to a home that looks and feels much closer to the one you first fell in love with.

What the deal actually includes
The facade is the first impression your home makes, on you as much as anyone else. Every time you pull into your driveway, it's what you see. Hebel is a premium building material with a clean, sculptural presence that gives homes a genuinely considered look. It also performs well thermally and acoustically, which matters over the long life of a home.
Under The Better Deal, more than a dozen Hebel facades are available at no charge.
Inside, the Designer Kitchen inclusions are a substantial list: 20mm Caesarstone benchtops in four designer colours across the kitchen and island bench, overhead cabinetry with a dedicated microwave space, a tiled splashback, a 900mm InAlto induction or gas upright cooker, a stainless steel canopy rangehood, and a stainless steel InAlto dishwasher.
“We built The Better Deal around the features people picture when they imagine their first home,” says Janine Armstrong, Carlisle Homes General Manager of Marketing. “Street appeal, a practical yet stylish kitchen, quality appliances. These aren't luxuries; they're the things that determine whether the house feels like a place you’re proud to call home.”
The Better Deal for EasyLiving means that ducted heating and evaporative cooling are also included. Ceilings sit at 2590mm throughout the ground floor. Block-out roller blinds are included in key rooms. Flooring choices include ceramic floor tiles or timber-look laminate to the entry, kitchen, meals, and living areas, with carpet to the remainder of the home and tiles to the bathroom, ensuite, and laundry.
The ensuite & bathroom get stylish mixer tapware, shower, bath and basin mixer, inset basins, a slide shower rail, and 20mm Caesarstone benchtops to the ensuite vanity at no extra charge.
The laundry fitout includes laminate cabinetry and an even better deal with a Westinghouse washer and dryer delivered and installed at no extra cost.

The financial piece
Beyond the inclusions, The Better Deal has two financial components that are designed with first home buyers in mind.
Price Lock is the first. This means your base home price is locked in for 18 months. Even if construction costs shift during a build timeline, you have the certainty of knowing your price won't.
The second is the deposit structure. When financing with Mortgage Domayne, you can start your build with just a $2,000 deposit until slab stage. The rest of your savings stays in your account, working for you, while the early stages of your build get underway. For buyers who've spent years saving carefully, that's not a small thing.
“Price certainty and a $2K deposit to get started address the two things that make people most hesitant,” says Armstrong. “Once those are settled, the process feels a lot more manageable.”
Mortgage Domayne are Carlisle's finance partner for the EasyLiving range. They specialise in construction loans and first home buyer finance, work across the grants and government schemes that may apply to your situation, and are known for explaining things clearly rather than in the kind of finance language that makes people feel like they're missing something.
The Rothwell 33 with Crest facade blends modern coastal-country style with single-level luxury - featuring open-plan living, a grand butler’s pantry, and Basilica Chalk tiles from Beaumont for a warm, refined finish.
Finding the right home
The Better Deal applies across the entire EasyLiving range, which gives you room to find the design that suits your block and your life.
The Ashbourne Grand Pantry 23 is one of the most consistently popular single-storey options, and the butler's pantry is a big part of the reason. For anyone moving from a flat or a share house where kitchen storage has always been a problem, a proper pantry changes the way the whole space feels.
For buyers working with a narrower block, the Chatswood Grand 29 is a double-storey design built specifically for smaller lots. It keeps living and entertaining spaces open on the ground floor and positions bedrooms privately upstairs, getting considerably more out of a footprint that might otherwise feel limiting.
Whichever design suits you, The Better Deal inclusions are consistent across the range. You're not trading a better kitchen for a facade upgrade, or compromising on heating to get the flooring you want. It comes together as one package.

Making the whole thing clearer
Building a first home involves a lot of decisions, and there's real value in reducing the number of things you have to trade off against each other. The EasyLiving process runs six steps from finance to handover, with a fixed-price contract ready within four weeks of deposit and selections, and a 20-week build time guarantee for single-storey homes (terms and conditions apply).
