Pull On Your Brightest Socks – It’s Time for Sock Out Sunday!

Looking for something meaningful to do with the whole family this May? Sock Out Sunday is back for 2025, and this year, Carlisle Homes is proudly sponsoring the annual community fundraiser that’s big on family fun and even bigger on purpose.

Held across Australia and New Zealand, Sock Out Sunday invites participants to walk 2km, 5km or even 10km to raise funds for the LifeChanger Foundation and their vital work in preventative youth mental health.

Melbourne locals can join the main event at 12:30 pm on Sunday, 4 May, at Gosch’s Paddock, AAMI Park. Expect an exciting afternoon of food, free activities, prizes and community connection, including a sausage sizzle, games for the kids, and a vibrant sea of LifeChanger socks stepping out in support of a powerful community cause.

Centrally located on the banks of the Yarra River, Gosch’s Paddock at AAMI Park is the ideal spot to rock your socks. It’s easy to reach via public transport, and as a bonus, all registered participants can score 2-for-1 discounted tickets to the Melbourne Victory vs Newcastle Jets match, which will kick off at 5 pm that same day!

Can’t make it to AAMI Park? You can still get involved by hosting your own Sock Out Sunday event at your local park. Rally friends, family, neighbours, workmates, or teammates, and walk your chosen distance in solidarity to help end the youth mental health crisis.

Sock Out Sunday raises vital funds for LifeChanger’s evidence-based preventative youth mental health programs, which directly respond to the challenges and alarming statistics facing today’s young people. Through face-to-face workshops and digital resources, these programs equip youth with the tools, support, and confidence they need to thrive.

And yes—the socks are back. A limited run of Cotton On Stand Together socks are available to registered fundraisers, adding a playful and proudly visible touch to the cause. They’re bold, bright, and bound to go quickly.
