  It’s at the Spectra Selection Centre, part of the Carlisle Homes experience, that you get to transform one of our architecturally inspired house designs into your ideal home by choosing from more than 5,000 products and samples.

• 

  So how does it work? Once you’ve selected your house design, your Carlisle Homes’ consultant will arrange two meetings for you at Spectra.

• 

  Your first visit is spent browsing through the extensive range of samples and products on offer, with the help of a qualified interior designer. This generally takes a few hours and is really quite exciting as you can start to picture your home coming to life.

• 

  Your second visit is an all-day affair. You’ll meet with the same interior designer to make your final decisions on everything from bricks and rendering to carpets and light fittings.

• 

  There are so many important decisions you’ll need to make for your home, even down to the kitchen sink! At Spectra you’ll mix, match, open, close, measure and compare... so let’s start in the kitchen.

• 

  What kind of cupboards do you fancy? What kind of drawers? What bench surface do you prefer? There are plenty of colours to choose from for your benches and cupboards. You’ll also need to decide whether you want a tiled or glass splashback.

• 

  Something for you cooks; the cookers at Spectra are all European and 900mm wide; most cookers are only 600mm. Choose the stove top that suits your best with a combination of standard burners and a wok burner. Plus, there’s a selection of stylish rangehoods.

• 

  You might not have thought too much about bricks, cladding and render; you don’t need to! They’re on display at Spectra. There’s a great range to choose from here, but if you would like to see your bricks on a larger scale, you’re welcome to visit the manufacturer.

• 

  If you picture yourself soaking in a tub after a long day, then make a selection from the range of baths. You’ll also select your vanity unit, sink, tapware, toilet, tiles... see why you need the whole day?
