Carlisle wins at HIA awards
Carlisle Homes has won at the 2011 HIA CSR Victorian Kitchen and Bathroom Awards, taking home the prize for display home Kitchen of the Year.
The winning kitchen, on display in the Mantra at our Somerfield display centre, is a contemporary streamlined design inspired by modern European kitchens.
Carlisle Homes chief designer Brendan Haese says Carlisle is proud to be recognised by the HIA for supreme design innovation and creative flair.
“We used top-quality finishes within the design to enhance the overall impact of the contemporary style of the kitchen,” Mr Haese says.
“The kitchen really is the heart of the home, which is why it is so important to combine everyday practicality with stylish looks and features into its design. Every Carlisle kitchen is designed this way, the Mantra is an outstanding example. This is the way we see kitchen design trending,” he says.
The award winning L-shaped kitchen is spacious and practical and features a central island bench with space for seating, plus a butler’s pantry. It boasts extensive storage and bench space, incorporating areas for culinary and decorative display.
Held on Friday 4 November 2011 at Crown’s Palladium Ballroom, the awards recognised excellence in residential building, with fierce competition in each category. Carlisle Homes were also announced finalists in the Customer Service category and took home the top honour and runner up awards in the Outdoor Project category.
The award winning Mantra kitchen is on display daily from 11am until 5pm at Carlisle Homes, 19-23 Somerfield Drive, Keysborough. Click here for more details.
