Carlisle Homes is pleased to announce four Community Grants winners in the first cycle of 2015 which ran from January 1, 2015 – March 31, 2015.

The winning projects cover a range of educational and community initiatives and the judges were overwhelmed with the standard and quantity of applications. The grants give locals a unique opportunity to contribute to the building of strong communities and enrich the lives of those living there.

Below is a summary of the winning projects for Cycle 1, 2015 Community Grants:

Mercy Public Hospitals Incorporated has won a $21,500 grant to be put towards Werribee Mercy Hospital Kid's Waiting Room. This project will deliver a comfortable and reassuring environment for children and their families at Werribee Mercy Hospital.

Clyde-Cardinia Fire Brigade has been granted $12,000 for their system to motorise their engine bay doors. Currently Clyde-Cardinia Fire Brigade have to unlock and manually lift a heavy engine bay door to remove the vehicles and then lock it again before departure. Motorising this large door will enable the fire brigade to safely and more efficiently respond to protect our community in times of need.
